Senior Paralegal¶
About the Role¶
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our Legal Department. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to our banking operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents. This role demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
About You¶
- Paralegal certification required. Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field preferred. Notary qualification a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within financial services. Extensive experience in contract management, legal research, and regulatory compliance.
- Working knowledge of Cayman Anti-Money Laundering / Combating the Financing of Terrorism requirements.
- Working knowledge of Cayman Islands company structures.
- Working knowledge of Cayman Islands Monetary Authority banking regulations.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Markdown or other coding languages.
- Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and tools.
